HOW CHEMICAL PEELS WORK
With a specifically-formulated acid, your chemical peel’s solution is designed to remove the damaged, dead upper layers of your skin. A peel is a proven technique to smooth the appearance of your face, your neck, and your hands – all while refining your skin’s texture. Once the solution is applied to the skin, it exfoliates it and gently peels it away over time – and what shines through is skin that has fewer wrinkles, a smoother complexion and a refreshed appearance
SKIN APPEAL
During the treatment, your skincare professional will apply one or more layers of a chemical peel solution onto skin for a specified amount of time. This is dependent on the type of chemical peel used, the concentration of the solution, skin type, and skin’s reactivity to the treatment.
While some peels are self-neutralizing, most formulas need to be neutralized with a buffering solution or water upon completion of the treatment. The goal is to create a controlled, safe injury to the skin, thereby prompting skin to naturally repair itself and reveal newer, brighter skin.

Downtime: 2-5 days, as skin peels and renews
